Vice President, Marsha Stanton, has received yet another prestigious award

Marsha Stanton, PhD, RN, Vice President of IHFDA will receive the Sigma Theta Tau Advocacy award at the Nu Nu chapter meeting in Layton, Utah on March 21st. This award is in recognition of the 30 years Marsha has been involved in all aspects of patient care for those with pain and those with the disease of addiction. She has been instrumental in creating an avenue for the Recovery High School students to relate their stories of success and failure during several professional organization conferences and has been instrumental in establishing the “Lock Your Meds” campaign in partnership with the National Family Partnership who sponsor the Red Ribbon drug education programs in schools nationwide each October.
