Webinar

This session explores the critical and often overlooked role of nurses in the prevention of drug diversion within healthcare settings. While nurses are frequently impacted by diversion issues—both as potential sources and as frontline identifiers—they are also uniquely positioned to become powerful champions of change.

Through real-world insights and strategies, this presentation will highlight how healthcare organizations can foster meaningful partnerships with nursing departments and engage executive leadership to build a collaborative, compassionate culture of accountability. Attendees will learn how shifting from punitive approaches to supportive, team-based prevention models not only enhances patient and staff safety but also empowers nurses to lead in identifying, addressing, and preventing diversion.
