2021 Virtual Conference

September 20th - 22nd

IHFDA 5th Annual Virtual Conference

After some painstaking consideration, the International Health Facility Diversion Association (IHFDA) Board has decided to change our annual conference format from in-person to a virtual conference. This was finalized after the results of the member survey were discussed. The survey revealed that most of you cannot travel with the support of your employer and that a virtual conference would be your preference.

These times have made it important that we proceed with a virtual conference as we work with the Chicago hotel to schedule a future national conference at their facility. Although we are somewhat disappointed with not being able to hold an in-person conference, we are also excited about exploring all the possibilities that a virtual conference brings.

The IHFDA Board has approved another industry leading agenda dealing with diversion and safety within healthcare facilities. The final agenda is listed below and available for download. In addition, each attendee will be able to receive up to 16 CE credits from Amedco LLC.

To make the virtual conference is similar as an in-person conference.  IHFDA has partnered with Whova to provide the conference platform.  Whova will allow for Sponsors, Exhibitors, and Attendees to communicate and view the presentations from both a desktop and mobile applications.  Those of you who have already registered, we can provide you with a full refund, or apply it toward the virtual conference.

Thank you for understanding, as this decision was not made in haste, but with considerable thought and intent. The IHFDA Board is looking forward to bringing you another incredible agenda and program, thanks for supporting us!
